## Quick checklist

1. Export at **300 DPI at final print size** (not “fit to page” or screen resolution).
2. Use **PDF with embedded fonts** for text-heavy posters; JPG/PNG for photography.
3. Add **3 mm bleed** if background colour or image extends to the edge.
4. Keep logos and body text inside a **5 mm safe margin**.
5. Run the **Resolution Check** on the poster page before checkout.
6. Choose paper GSM: **170** (events), **220** (home décor), **300** (fine art).

## Bleed & safe area

- **Bleed:** 3 mm on all sides when artwork is full-bleed (background to edge).
- **Safe zone:** Keep critical text and logos at least 5 mm inside the trim line.
- **Thin borders:** Avoid hairline rules thinner than 0.25 pt — they may not print reliably.

## Colour

- **sRGB** uploads are accepted; we ICC-calibrate in the lab.
- For brand-critical colour, export **CMYK** when your design tool supports it.
- Avoid heavily filtered social-media exports for skin tones and reds.

## Canva export {#canva-export}

1. Set custom dimensions in **inches** at final poster size (e.g. 24×36 in).
2. Download as **PDF Print** (preferred) or **PNG** at highest quality.
3. Enable “Crop marks and bleed” if your Canva plan includes print bleed.
4. Do not export at “Presentation” or low-resolution PNG for large wall sizes.
